Sow into Kenya

When we first began ministry we knew we wanted to stretch out beyond our Western Church borders and move into ‘Mission’ in the emerging nations of our beautiful world. In the last couple of years, the Lord moved in our hearts showing us that NOW was the time for this, so we took our first trip to Kenya, to serve the local church there.

Our 4-year goal in serving the local church in Kenya is to teach, train and mentor, developing friendships along that will lead us further into the purposes of God for His people in the nation. Along the way, God has opened a friendship and partnership with Apostle Theresa Omoto. In her words:

 

When I met Rebecca King, I met a dear sister and a friend. Then she introduced us to sister Heather Clayton, an incredible friend and minister of the Gospel. Through Invictus Kingdom Ministries, we have met and learnt how God's family operated. We have experienced the Agape Love of God. We have gone through very important lessons in Prophecy, Interpretation of Dreams and Visions. The prophetic has opened up in Kenya. We now know what prophecy is and what it is not. A lot of errors and misuse and abuse of the prophetic have been corrected and the sound doctrine shared widely, accurately in Nairobi and the Western parts of Kenya. Invictus Kingdom Ministries have also ministered to us in feeding the numerous Prophetic Conference participants, in addition to the big help that has been given to the Nguzo (widows) fraternity numbering (up to 255 now), in Western Kenya. Indeed we are following Jesus together.

 

Naturally, after our first trip we came back having learned more than we gave away. We are not going to the big, bright, wealthy places. But rather where we sense there is a need. Our second trip is coming up shortly. We are headed back to Kenya for May and will be training both in Nairobi and in the villages of Western Kenya.

We have already been giving online courses in prophecy and dream interpretation. Invictus will be using those courses as the springboard for much more. We will also be working with leadership and training in the five-fold ministry as apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists working together is critical.

 

Every bit of financial help is needed for these ventures and if you would like to sow into this upcoming trip we would be really thankful.
