Dear Friends,

This autumn has been especially beautiful to me. The world seems wrapped in gold, and every turn in the road seems to reveal vibrant colours. Living in the Prairies of Canada, these colours are often dazzling in the bright sunshine. I know it won't last, as snow is just around the corner. However, this season naturally encourages a sense of gratitude; thankfulness seems to bubble up effortlessly. What an incredible blessing that is for everyone. However, if this hasn't been your experience, I hope that our faithful God will remind you of His nearness to those who are brokenhearted and disappointed. Your season will change in God's perfect timing, as He truly does all things well.

I am grateful for each of you who have chosen to journey with us. We are a unique group of prophets, committed to embracing authenticity in every individual rather than attempting to mimic anyone else – except, of course, Jesus. Interestingly, He is the one who determines how that looks in everyone’s life, which challenges us to give each other the space to be who God created them to be.

We're also learning to release the wounds that compel us to insist others live exactly as we do. It sounds easy, but it isn’t—though it is possible. I encourage you to keep being yourself. You bring immense joy to the heart of the Lord. The prophetic world is often filled with clones and 'wannabes', believing they must imitate a particular person and that by doing so they’ll find acceptance and favour. This mindset leads everyone far from the heart of our Creator and stems from unhealed brokenness and a lack of gratitude for who God made each person to be. God, in His goodness, has taken me on an extensive journey that has allowed me to embrace much more easily who I am and what I love. Once I grasped who God had made me to be, I was able to stop making incorrect assumptions and judgments about others—judgments that stemmed from my own brokenness, which I sometimes didn’t even know existed.

This is a season for prophets to choose healing once again—deep, authentic healing. God is sweeping through, uncovering hidden corners and revealing things we thought were resolved, but were not entirely healed. Don’t be content to stay on the outside of the camp just because you’re hurt or disappointed. That is the easy way out of dealing with anything, and it does not bear lasting fruit in one’s life.

As I watch the leaves fall and listen to the wind sweeping through my city, I am reminded that this is a time when we like settle into the comfort of what is warm and cozy. My prayer for you all is that you embrace the deep healing God has prepared for each of you. The past couple of months have been tough for just about every prophet I have talked to, and there have been many. Yet, these difficult months have also been filled with moments of profound goodness and mercy as well as great joy—more than ever before. The falling, golden leaves serve as a beautiful reminder of this. They reaffirm that God's promises are true: His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives. I never want to forget this truth; to me, it is more precious than gold.

God Bless you in your pursuit of HIM With love,

Rebecca King
